On-site Visit To Saudi Industrial Steel Workshop Project

We have an industrial project is currently under construction in the Saudi Arabia, designed to serve as a multifunctional facility housing a fabrication workshop and administrative offices.         The project combines steel structural engineering with brick wall.

The facility's framework is anchored by H-section steel columns connect with steel roof truss.         These columns support truss girders for the roof structure, ensuring long-span coverage ideal for the expansive workshop area.         This design not only optimizes space utilization but also enhances seismic resilience, a critical consideration in the region.

For the walls, the project employs a hybrid system: rock wool composite panels paired with local brick masonry.         The rock wool panels provide exceptional thermal insulation and fire resistance.

The workshop zone is designed for operations, the workshop features open-plan layouts supported by the steel framework, allowing flexibility for machinery installation and workflow optimization.

For the office spaces prioritizes occupant comfort with soundproofing and thermal insulation from the composite panels, creating a productive environment for staff.

For this business trip,we mainly verified the intallation quality of H-section columns and truss girders, and the rock wool panels.      The brick masonry joints were also scrutinized for weatherproofing durability.
